The GSS provides a one-time $600 or $1,200 payment to families and individuals who qualify. Eligible taxpayers may receive a one-time $600 payment if they receive the CalEITC, or if they earned $75,000 or less (total California Adjusted Gross Income for 2020) and file a tax return with an Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN). Eligible taxpayers may receive a one-time $1,200 payment if they receive the CalEITC and file a tax return with an ITIN.
