Point In Time Count & Vulnerability Index Results Common Ground Santa Barbara County and the Central Coast Collaborative on Homelessness thank all the volunteers who made the 2017 Point In Time Count possible! The Point In Time Count is an unduplicated count of sheltered and unsheltered homeless individuals and families across the United States. The count provides a snapshot of who is homeless on a given night. This information can be used to plan local homeless assistance systems and to raise public awareness of homelessness. We use a tool that is administered on a smart phone or tablet. Join us to make a difference in the lives of homeless men, women, and children throughout Santa Barbara County by taking part in the Point In Time Count! 2017 Survey Results 2015 Survey Results 2013 Survey Results 2011 Survey Results 2017 Contacts

Common Ground has affected me in so many great ways. Primarily, the team I am a part of with people who care so tremendously. The affects of the team are displayed in the park; people are progressing and being loved consistently. I absolutely believe in what we are doing!" Volunteer As the Volunteer Coordinator it was amazing to see 600 volunteers come together for a common goal. Registry Week allowed friendships to be formed between surveying teams and community members, whether housed or unhoused. It was a beautiful thing to witness and I am pleased to be involved."
